We have tried bread from a number of area bakeries including Hi-Rise, Iggy’s, When Pigs Fly, etc. Our vote is for Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline.
Although not the safest bike ride from Cambridge, it is well worth the trip for European style bread (delicious and reasonably priced) in the area, in particular for German breads. [...]
